I took the red eye from LaGuardia into Miami, and arrived just in time for an early lunch. I'm staying w/ an old college friend during my stay....all the girls want her and all the boys look up to her... my dear friend Melissa Smock. I was especially excited to visit her because at the end of the month she would be leaving for Hamburg for 3-6 months, and it had been well over a year since i last saw her.
Upon arrival, we didn't skip a beat she took me to this fetching new restaurant that had just opened the day before in the heart of the Wynwood Miami design district. We caught up, gossiped, told each other how good we looked smoked & drank champagne.
i had a delightful salad(though i had to ask for the greens) of octopus, artichoke heart, and sliced apples.
